| Hi there. My name is Chris from Belgium (26y). I will be visiting the ukrain in august and I was wondering if somebody could give me more information on public transport in the ucrain. I am particularly interested in
- interlocal or otherwise interesting tram lines - scenically interesting tram or railway lines throughout the country (mountains or interesting rural or urban settings) It would be very nice if someone had information for me about this. You can write in english, french, german, dutch or romanian preferably and also in russian or czech in which case a friend will translate for me :) I would be very grateful for any helpful tips or advice! Anybody: please make advices on what to see on railways in Ukraine (Участники форума - посоветуйте человеку, что посмотреть в Украине из ж/д). Ну и, когда приедет, можно сделать коллеге маленькую экскурсию по городу :-) | ||

| Hi there :) I am starting my trip in Lviv on the 6th of august and then I go to Kiyiv, Odessa, Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta and maybe dnjepropetrovsk ... sincerely chris | ||

Once you are in the Crimea, try to visit Eupatoria, even if for several hours. It's about an hour's ride by car from Simferopol, and the ancient narrow-gauge Gotha trams there are unique. Et je sais, qu'en Belgique on parle en français. Ça m'était très agréable de faire la reconnaîssance avec vous. You meant 'capital letter'. It won't be probably a mistake to call it 'large letter', although I don't think I have ever seen anybody doing that. I think that using 'big letter' in such a case is funny, and also the whole sentence is clumsy. I would say 'capitalize days of the week and months of the year'. | Советую. В Днепропетровске, да и вообще по приднепровке шастают "нулевки" чебурашки (ЧС2), ЭР1 малых номеров. Кроме того в Новомосковске (на ДонЖД тоже этого добра хватает) СВИКС представлен моторным вагоном СР3. СР3 также в небольшом количестве имеются у "балбесов" (ТЧ Славянск). СР3 ес-сно не на ходу. Далее. На ЮЖД имеются ТЭП60 и ТЭП70.
А теперь самое интересное:-) В Харькове по трамвайным путям таскают ЖД вагоны. Это хозяйство находится рядом с Х-Пас. | ||

| Не, "балбесы" на чебурашках не шастають:-)
Они на "черепах" (ВЛ8/м) швендяют и на ЭД2т/ЭР2т. На чебурашках только "смертники" ака октябрята (ТЧ-2 Жовтень), днепряне (ТЧ-8 Придн) и "махновцы" ака мелитопольцы (ТЧ-3 придн). шастають. А вот "килки" ака краснолиманцы (ТЧ-1 Дон) еще и на ДЕ1 шастают. В Нижнеднепровске (левый берег Днепропетровска) тоже ДЕ1 есть. Даже 001 и 002. | ||
